Definitely an investment but uniquely beautiful rower (fits nicely in with my "nature" decor) with relatively quiet and smooth action, easy to move and store upright with a quality build made to last. Allen key assembly relatively straightforward but not the quickest to do (approx. 1 hour but haven't put together anything in forever) as there are a fair few steps and moving around of pieces and finally filling the water wheel to calibration level.
