These chairs look beautiful and I was initially very happy with them. Unfortunately, the quality and durability have been disappointing. After only one month of normal household use, the surface of the seat began to delaminate/peel. By around two months, the timber cross supports had also started chipping and splintering in multiple places. For a chair designed for everyday use, I expected the finish and construction to be considerably more robust. This isn’t wear I would expect to see after such a short period of time. It’s particularly disappointing because aesthetically they are lovely chairs and look great in our home. However, based on how quickly ours have deteriorated, I have concerns about how they will hold up over the longer term. Beautiful design, but unfortunately the durability has not lived up to my expectations.
