Our new mattress turned out to be uncomfortably firm, adding this memory foam topper has added just enough cushioning to stop the bed being uncomfortably hard. When it arrived and we unfolded it, it was a bit lumpy and uneven in the cover but it has evened out from us sleeping on it.
