Disappointing quality decline- caused me backache I’ve bought three mattresses from Temple & Webster over the past three years, and this purchase reflects a pattern I’ve noticed: the first mattress I bought was genuinely great quality, but every purchase since has gone downhill. This particular mattress is advertised as having a memory foam top layer, but after two months of daily use, it’s clear that’s not the case. It behaves like standard foam; it doesn’t contour and hold shape the way memory foam should, and instead compresses and shifts under you. As a result, I’ve developed ongoing backache since I started sleeping on it, which has been a real problem for my day-to-day comfort. Given my previous positive experience with Temple & Webster, this has been a letdown. I’d think twice before trusting the “memory foam” labeling on future purchases and would recommend the company look into quality control, as it feels like standards have slipped significantly since my first order.
