Three-piece portable smoker box pack is a compact stainless steel smoker designed for outdoor cooking. Lightweight yet sturdy, it is easy to take on picnics or to a beach barbecue. The box quickly creates smoke to add a bright, savoury flavour to fish and other light proteins. Place on a flat non-flammable surface and use briefly to infuse food with a delicate smoked finish. Simple to operate, it brings the ritual and aroma of smoking to gatherings and alfresco meals for friends and family.
Features:
- Pack includes: 1x stainless steel fish smoker, 1x metho burner with snuffer, 1x 500g bag of sawdust
- To use this portable smoker box pack, remove the grills from the inside of the smoker box and use the burner snuffer (metho burner lid) as a scoop to spread a thin layer of sawdust over the base tray. Use approximately 4-5 scoops of sawdust and spread it evenly on the base.
- Place the metho burner on an even and non-flammable surface. Add methylated spirits (not included) inside the metho burner and fill it halfway only, place the lid back on and carefully light the flammable liquid.
- Place the smoker box over the lit burner, return the top and bottom grills to their position and replace the lid for one minute prior to commencing the cooking process to allow enough time for smoke to build inside the box.

- Gently place your fish on the top grill and lightly brush with oil and maybe add a squeeze of lemon. Replace the lid and smoke for 8-10 minutes, Remember do not lift the lid during this cooking time otherwise the heat and smoke will escape.
- After 8-10 minutes, lift the smoker box and place to the side without removing the lid. Using the snuffer safely extinguish the lit burner by placing it over the top until the flames dissipate.
- Allow the smoker box to sit for 5 minutes before removing the lid to complete the smoking process. After 5 minutes remove the lid and place the fish on a serving platter ready to eat.
- It is recommended to use fish fillets that are approx 10mm thick and lightly coated with oil
- The 430 grade stainless steel smoker box contains the base, lid, top wire cooking grill and bottom wire cooking grill.
- This pack is lightweight and portable with a sturdy design
