2.59m Striped Brighton Cantilever Umbrella

Bought this for additional shade in our yard.. we put it up once but it was so clunky.. I didn’t realise that the weights in the image weren’t included (false advertising!) - it’s just a cross base that needs to be spiked into the ground. Moving it around the yard was just too tricky for me. A waste of money as far as I’m concerned, very disappointed.

The stand I bought separate is not as good as I hoped and read on reviews prior to buying the opposite, even with 2 20kg sandbags it still wasn’t good enough for a bit of wind. The umbrella pole was bending. When it’s not windy at all the overall look is nice and the size of the umbrella is great coverage. But the 50% saving from a 800/900 cement stand you would get elsewhere is not really worth it in my opinion.

If you don't tie down it breaks pretty easily as some of the mechanisms are plastic. Can't really find a great umbrella that isn't thousands of dollars

Does the job, you need to purchase pavers or base to make sure it is secure. You can adjust the tilt, but the umbrella doesn't swivel, so you need to move the whole thing if you want to change the position of the shade.

Not fit for purpose. Cannot even use the umbrella as it will fall over even without a breeze. It needs a heavy umbrella base to make the umbrella workable. Not included with the umbrella and needs to be purchased separately. Feel like I have been conned with this purchase.

Mixed review. If you have a slightly windy yard, might not be the best or ensure they are well secured. She flips around a lot and could take your eye out if not secured. I have the 50kg base with pavers on and it still seems a little unstable. We now have it okki strapped to the fence when up, I use the straps to hook to the fence. Love the look of them, seem to be good quality and perfect for some shade. Husbands not happy with it but I am.

Cantilever umbrella - great quality, provided a massive amount of shade for our pool and can easily be moved around to follow the sun for the hot QLD weather.
