A shorea thing
Shorea wood is highly durable, making it ideal for outdoor furniture that is exposed to the elements. Resistant to decay, rot, and insect damage, it's a low-maintenance option for those who want long-lasting furniture. Just be sure to treat it yearly with timber oil for maintenance.
Practical design
A slatted table top and chair design is not only attractive, it's also practical. The even gaps between the wood slats ensures that water doesn't pool on the surfaces, helping to prevent long-term degradation from water damage.

Very sturdy, well made, big enough in size, not small and flimsy. This set is big and heavy so you can't fold them and keep them at home and bring them out when it is sunny, chances are you will keep them outside. They are made for that sort of use. Also, please remember all outdoor furniture needs a coat of oil, it's like their sunscreen.
