The filling of this two-quilt set is a 100% wool blend. 80% is Australian down wool, known for being light, fluffy and soft with high thermal ability, while 20% is Australian merino wool fibres that are temperature-regulating, odour-resistant and insulating.
Unparalleled comfort
Each quilt cover is made of 100% japara cotton, a tightly woven fabric with a thick texture and sateen look and feel. It's soft and smooth on your skin whilst being moisture and stain resistant.

It really isn't warm and we found we had to add another layer in addition to flanelette sheets. We previously had a polyester doona which kept us warm, so not sure what has happened here? Will need to buy something else. Like others, the zip holds the doonas together but have found they slip around in the cover as well.

I love this quilt. It is so warm. The day we put it on the bed was the day I started sleeping better again. We currently have both quilts zipped together to keep the winter chill away. It zips at the corners only, but we haven't had any issues with the two quilts sliding against each other and getting lost in the doona cover like other quilts we've owned. The quilts themselves are not super lofty. We have a super king size and when changing the sheets etc. you need two people as it's heavy due to the sheer size of it, but when sleeping under it, it doesn't have the heavy feeling at all. We love it.
