Beautiful pieces. Extremely well maid.

These arrived wrapped in paper and not in their own box. I'm unsure if this means they were ex display? These are NOT shiny and they are two vastly different colours. They barely match each other and the gold leaf on the top of the pear is a matte bronze colour with a lot of chipped paint and it looks like the leaf has rusted somehow, and the apple leaf is gold as shown in the advertisement. Both items have an area where the wood looks scratched from rubbing against something and it has removed the lacquer finish and left a similar white mark on both items. At first I thought it was mould! I'm still hoping its not. And finally there's residual resin on the side and top of the apple. These are overpriced at best and to receive such sub-par products with so many things wrong with them is disappointing.

Love the colouring in the displayed picture. And understand that these would have different colours depending on the wood grain etc. The ones I got a very light, might put a varnish over them
