The back and seat do not match up; there’s a gap of at least 4cm. No way to make it work. And one of the screws is stripped likely from others before me trying to make it work.

Chair was very difficult to set up. The back of the chair would not connect correctly. Had to have my husband assist and it still would not connect. There was a gab causing the crews not to align. The chair is not as soft as it looks. It is firm to sit on and the back rest is shorter in size. Thought it would be a lot more comfortable to sit in. Definitely needs extra padding. A bit disappointed with this purchase.

I bought this armchair and stool to match the Malcolm Storage Ottoman. I love it. It looks great, is comfortable, but quite firm which makes me think it will maintain its shape. I'm typing this review sitting in it right now. I can't wait it lounge around in it in front of the gas log fire in winter! Unfortunately, the fabrics of the two items don't really match. The armchair is more like a sherpa lining inside a hoodie than boucle'. However, it is similar and it doesn't impact my rating for either item. Just be aware they aren't identical if you are wanting to pair them together.
