FAQs
What is included in the Alamo basket set?
The set includes one medium basket and one large basket. Neither basket has a lid, and they are not stackable.
How much space do the baskets take up?
The large basket measures 64cm H x 74cm W x 60cm D, while the medium basket measures 55cm H x 60cm W x 48cm D. The quoted dimensions may vary by up to 10% because each basket is handmade from natural materials.
What are these baskets made from?
They are made from Kubu rattan, a natural species of cane that grows abundantly and wild throughout South East Asia. The medium wood colour is part of the basket’s natural material finish.
Are the baskets easy to carry when full?
Each basket has two sturdy Kubu rattan handles to make carrying easier, including when the baskets are full. The total product weight is 13.7kg.
How should the Kubu rattan baskets be cared for?
Dust and wipe the baskets clean with a damp cloth, and avoid direct sunlight as this may fade the rattan over time. Splitting during weaving can occur with this natural material and does not affect the baskets’ performance or lifespan.
