The poles are made of cardboard, and while it is thick cardboard, it very rapidly starts to detach from the plastic end of the poles Which connects them to the screws that keep the tree together. It is only attached to these by a few staples, which easily start to pull out from any kind of pressure. So as the cats climb it, or sit on it, or jump down, the platforms at the top get looser and looser until they break off. The top one has already broken off mine after just a month. I advise you not to buy unless you have a very small or not very active cat, my cats are not very big, but I expect something that costs $100 to last more than a month. |
