Returning customers very happy with out past customer experience with Temple and Webster. We have purchased 3 of these Indigenous art canvases in the past. Once again we were very happy with the quality of the canvas print interns of resolution and tonality that faithfully reproduced the original. Assembly of the lightweight timber backing frames was of high quality too. Delivery by Neway was fast, ahead of schedule, and always great to have them phone a few days in advance to confirm their delivery date- with another call 15 minutes prior to delivery on the day. We were really looking forward to rating this 4th product another 5 star review- however there were two assembly defects that brought down our score. Firstly, the far left and right screw-in points for the 'hanger chord' at the rear of the timber frame were not 'level'. One was higher than the other, which means that it was not possible to place the 'hanger chord' level upon wall hangers- it is constantly slanted at an angle. We will need to drill-out, and re-drill one, of these screw-in points to rectify this defect. Secondly, the staples that fix the rear of the stretched canvas to the backing timber frame are not sitting tightly and flush with the surface of the timber frames- with a noticeable amount of gap. This led to an uneven edge, which makes hanging the canvas against walls even more uneven. To be clear we have not experienced these assembly defects with the past 3 similar products we purchased- which is why we were so surprised. Possibly due to the Christmas sales rush extra production pressure has led to some unfortunate reduction in product quality. We look forward to continuing to purchase more products from Temple and Webster in the future.
