I was skeptical about this bed! After reading all the reviews I decided to give it a go. It took me about 2 hours to build it, it was pretty straight forward. The bed is solid! Perfect for a toddler. The trundle doesn't feel as solid - given the base and legs etc) but still it's is GREAT VALUE for money!!!!! I bought the Callaway Foldable Camping Mattress to go on the trundle bed and I would not recommend that. It's very uncomfortable even with a thick topper. Overall I'm very happy with this bed and I would recommend it :)

Pretty basic bed. It doesn't feel particularly strong, but it is good enough for a kid's room.

This is a practical solution to having both grand kids sleep over. Fab when the rellies stay over too. Be careful with mattress depth though - if the mattress is too deep the trundle won't fit underneath.

Suits the purpose , a spare bed for grandchildren. Tricky getting the right size mattress for trundle .

Very affordable, but reflected in quality. Bought lowest profile mattress we could find for the trundle and it still dragged on bed base. Ended up adding height to bed frame legs so the trundle had clearance. Bed squeaks when anyone larger than our 4yo sits/lays on it. The trundle also has to be lined up perfectly and forced in at the correct angle or it jams and has to be rolled out until aligned. Wouldn’t buy again, if you’re desperate for a trundle and both bed will only be used by small children you could make it work
