Well this was a heavy item but it you are careful and have half a brain you can cut it out of the box with a box cutter, yes very well protected with polystyrene, etc., all opens and closes fine although I have the left-hand top draw is a bit tight so once used enough I think will sort itself out, great deep draws, turning the handles around is a bit of a pain but then I'm not a mechanic so a bit slow with a screwdriver, no I don't have or need a battery one, I'd most probably scratch the lovely finish, very happy with this purchase and quick to deliver
