Walnut Maddington 5 Drawer Tallboy

Assembling this product was, without a doubt, the most nightmareish furniture assembly I have ever had the displeasure of doing. It took me well over 2 hours. The instructions are incredibly vague and unclear and having to hammer the baseboards in place for both the unit and the drawers meant that you have to align the nails perfectly with the (relatively) thin walls. And if you don't, the nails come through and damage the wood. The drawers were misaligned which required me to disassemble and reassemble part of the item because the instructions don't make it clear which orientation to install the columns in.

These draws were a nightmare to put together, none of the predrilled holes lined up, every draw had to be realigned, a task that took many hours. If you are not handy do not order these draws, on the upside when the draws were finally completed, they looked quite nice.

Excellent drawer. All other drawers were 90cm plus. This was the only one that fitted in the small space available to me. Drawers slide well and woodgrain effect is a warm pleasant colour

Easy to assemble and good sturdy construction. I have had this for over a year now and it survived a long house move and it is still going great.

Due to the fact that I have to assemble this item I have no idea what it actually looks like. Did not expect to have to find someone to assemble it!!

There were insufficient pin nails to appropriately secure the back panel. Also the drawers did not line up properly. Some of the panels were damaged. It i not as sturdy as I had expected.

Love the finished product but the instructions are difficult to understand. I had to buy more screws because there wasn't enough. One of the drawers won't open properly.

The assembly instructions were difficult to follow, and took a long time to put together. There were also chips and slight damage to the veneer of multiple pieces of MDF.

Beatufil tone of walnut. All pieces are tagged with numbers and make assembly easier.

Beautiful design but the instructions were a little misleading. It's not as sturdy as I would have liked.

Easy to assemble provided plans are studied carefully and followed explicitly. Sadly despite good packing the back sheet was found to be cracked on delivery but fortunately it was at the back of the cabinet and not seen once assembled. Very good and prompt delivery - purchased Monday, arrived Thursday. Good delivery tracking provided. Thank,you.,

Great looking unit once put together. My husband is very handy, but the instructions for this were incredibly bad and you wouldn't attempt it if you don't have power tools. Took us a couple of hours.
