Lovely looking desk but hard to put together, need a long time

I love my new desk! The quality is excellent, something that’s hard to find these days. I paid a few hundred dollars to have it assembled, but it was worth every cent to avoid the headache.

Great product as advertised. Arrived in quick time. Very happy with purchase

GREAT DESK, TOOK FOREVER TO ASSEMBLE BUT WORTH IT!

This desk is beautiful. Whilst a large size it is not imposing and the perfect comfortable height to work at daily. I was not prepared however for it to be entirely flat packed and took me a good 12ish hours to build on my own. Lay out all parts at the beginning will make this easier.

After three freaking years!!! It's still reeking of formaldehyde every freaking day!!! No matter how many times I scrub and keep the vents wide open, it just refuses to dissipate!!!

I recently purchased the desk with high hopes, as the timber material appeared to be of good quality and the design was aesthetically pleasing. However, my experience with this product quickly turned sour due to the abysmal assembly process. Despite the promising initial impressions, I regretfully advise potential buyers to steer clear of this particular table. First and foremost, the assembly was nothing and its difficult. The parts did not align properly, making it incredibly frustrating to put the table together. I enlisted the help of four tradesmen who specialize in flat pack assembly, assuming their expertise would make the process smoother. To my utter disbelief, even they found it impossible to assemble this table despite their years of experience. The sheer level of difficulty encountered was unprecedented and left us all dumbfounded. The lack of alignment between the parts resulted in a desk that was anything but sturdy. It felt wobbly and unstable, which greatly compromised its functionality and overall usability. I had anticipated a durable and reliable piece of furniture, but sadly, this table failed to meet even the most basic standards of stability. Considering the time, effort, and expertise required to assemble this desk, it is not a product I can recommend. While the timber material itself appeared to be of decent quality, the overall construction and assembly were far from satisfactory. It's disheartening to see such a promising design ruined by fundamental flaws in the manufacturing process. While it's unfortunate that this table fell short of expectations, I hope my review serves as a cautionary tale, saving others from the frustration and disappointment I experienced. In conclusion, despite the appealing timber material, the extreme difficulty of assembly, misaligned parts, and the inability of experienced tradesmen to successfully put it together make it impossible for me to recommend this product. Save yourself the headache and explore alternative options for a more reliable and user-friendly desk.

Used as sewing desk, very solid with plenty of room for cutting, has created a great craft space in corner of room.

Took my partner the better party of a day to put together. So many parts - but good instruction manual. Was worth the effort - looks fantastic - exactly as pictured.

Great desk, really large and solid. It does take a bit of time and a drill to put together but the instructions are really clear and easy to follow and everything marked well.

Beautiful desk makes a stunning feature but the assembly is very complex. Took 5hrs for me to do on my own, but well worth it!

Probably the highest quality flatpack kit that you can find. Manual well written and final build finish is excellent

Excellent quality. I was a bit sceptible about purchasing this after reading the difficulty associated with assembling this desk. It took my son around 6 hours, well documented instructions, and all the pieces were labelled. Although not all pieces were labelled with stickers, the remaining pieces were either laser etched or ink branded this their corresponding item numbers.

Beautiful desk. Really hard to put together. It took about two days and had to employ a carpenter in the end to assist.

Desk top piece arrived scratched. The filing cabinet doesn't fit suspension files and the PC storage cupbaord doesnt fit a etty disappointing product

excellent desk, looks great and very strong, make sure you allow the time needed to put together, however many pieces were not labelled which was annoying and the plastic protective plugs for the cords were the wrong size, not sure how to fix it

The finished product looks great, and is a high-quality item that I am very happy with. The only concern I had was the assembly process, owing to the large number of pieces that were not labelled with the corresponding part number that is specified in the very comprehensive instructions. It took just over 10 hours to complete the assembly, but the end result is just great !

Desk looks great, wide and sturdy and matches the rest of my decor. Similar to other reviews though, heaps of parts to put together and took me a long time to assemble because some pieces weren’t labelled or labelled incorrectly which was pretty frustrating.

Ordering was easy. Delivery was right on time. We enjoyed assembly and took our time for a great end result. Very functional and looks fantastic. Above our expectations. Can't fault it.

Awesome Desk, easy to put together and looks like a high quality piece of furniture. very practical

It was daunting at first, seeing the thousand pieces that came out of the boxes, knowing that I had to put them all together. But the instructions were so simple and each piece was marked. Took a whol day but the result in the end was beautiful. Note: some pieces were missing the predrilled holes that were required to screw them together, I had to do some measuring and drilling. Also the material is not extremely solid so don't drill too hard, I accidentally pushed some of the screws right through. Once I reversed them out they were fine though, but be gentle just to avoid unnecessary damage. Otherwise, it's the most stunning piece in our library.

Arrived in good time postage wise. As everyone says in other reviews, it does take a while to assemble but instructions are relatively easy to follow. Can't fault the appearance and the build quality - it definitely fits the office well and looks great.

What can we say LOVE IT, but it took a long time to put it together. Looks fantastic in our office.
