The lamp is beautiful. When you switch it on it is truly spectacular. I'm a little cautious about the hinge/pivot point as it looks and feels a little weak. It sits next to our chaise and she likes it. :)

The photo of it is when lit. The stained glass isn't as bright looking if not lit. So during the day when turned off it will look more dull and murky/opaque. Also the stand and arm the lamp comes off of isn't black. It's more murky dark olive green. The last picture is accurate. So don't come into buying this particular product if you were expecting a bright stained glass and contrasting black stand and arm. It isn't that. At least the stained glass isn't until you turn the switch on. Oh, one last important thing. Put it on level flooring. Better yet get some double sided adhesive especially if on carpet. From experience a bump can knock it down causing catastrophic damage. In my case the fall caused a small part of the stained glass to warp inward with some mild cracking; and thats not the worst of it. The plastic socket holding of the light bulb snapped off tearing wires along with it. Catastrophic indeed.

I have placed this statement piece of art into the dining room. It creates a room that not only offers a place to eat, drink coffee and do paperwork from work, but a beautiful room where the whole family and visitors get together. It is a large lamp that cannot be ignored, casting a soft rainbow of light across the table that creates a welcoming and warm atmosphere .This one piece has changed the entire room. I often leave the lamp on as a it’s beauty is a welcome sight and it seems to make everything taste better....even my coffee. No more stumbling in the dark....better than online....better than I could of hoped for....and at a such a great price
