The earlier reviews mentioning the lamp does not swivel at base and the screw not large enough to fix arm to base are more than valid and should be noted. Since the screw was inadequate the lamp does swivel !. Also this is a replica of the far more expensive and older Tolomeo lamp which I believe does swivel and I assume would not have taken much more effort to reproduce the base connection. I am generally happy with it except for the fixed base/non-swivel issue

Good quality lamp, which fulfill my need for a desklamp. Tilltable and quite tall. All parts are made from metal (no plastic) which is good. the bulb E27 is easy to change compared to some LED strip model, my local woollies also sells the led version.
