Family are replacing all cutting boards so purchased these Toronto Sapele wood boards. Researched and found Sapele Wood on par with Maple and Walnut for protecting knives. Plus like the spill channel and hand grip. Will be oiling with fractional coconut oil and waxing before use to support longevity of this product. I was after long grain timber cutting boards and this fit the brief.

Board had a lot of burrs when first recieved which seemed to come off after a wash or two, a long with the top layer of oil. Seems to need a lot of maintenance.
