Square 22cm Cast Iron Grill Pan

I decided it was time to be a big boy and buy a decent set of pans. This included the following griddle. It arrived quickly and was well-packaged, coming in pristine condition. It wasn't too heavy but definitely has some heft which is good as it stays put on the stove during use. I did some reading online about how to season the cast iron, and was actually surprised that basic directions weren't included in package. Overall I seasoned using vegetable oil at 230 degrees for 30 minutes with the pan upside down in the oven. I did this 4 times. As a result my first time using the pan, I ended up with a great meal and very minor sticking. However this wasn't due to quality or seasoning but rather not allowing the pan to get heat and oil prior to cooking. Notably, I have a gas stove so it was definitely impatience on my part. Overall after a few more tries I've made some great meat and veg with plans to make a few more elaborate pan to oven recipes. Really impressed with the quality with the offered green colouring being really vibrant! Would recommend for a decent quality, not-to-expensive griddle.

This is a gem of a grill, simple but it works great! I have grilled meats and vegetables all perfect every time. Highly recommend it.
