Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals

Depending on the foot traffic the rug receives, rotate at least once a year for even & balanced wear; do not expose to direct sunlight, use appropriate curtains & draperies; vacuum with a gentle setting regularly; do not use a rotating brush (beater) attachment; roll up in a plastic sheet for storage & transport, & use mothballs if necessary; all stains & spillages are to be spot cleaned only; do not wash or wet the entire rug; immediately clean up all liquid spillages without delay, scoop up solids first if any; do not use salt to absorb liquid spillages, use paper towel instead for blotting (not rubbing) both sides; when using carpet stain removers, make sure the product does not contain peroxide or bleach, & test before use; mild household detergents such as dishwashing liquids can also be used by dabbing with a sponge on the remaining stain after blotting initially; however, do not soak the area & use suds only; blot afterwards with paper towel & apply plain warm water by dabbing to remove any detergent residue; after this, re-blot the area again to remove moisture & ensure air circulation around the spot to dry; for professional overall cleaning, make sure to contact a rug cleaning specialist
