Rupert 2 Drawer Writing Desk & Clark Office Chair Set

The desk looks really nice and more expensive than it actually is. Was easy to assemble, although took a bit of time due to small parts for drawers and lots of screws. Other reviews mentioned issues or misalignment with drawers, however I didn’t have a problem with it. One part- front horizontal line of the desk arrived damaged, so I had to start with gluing it together as I couldn’t be bothered dealing with customer service to exchange. Most likely got damaged during delivery.

This chair was for my daughter and she loves it, the look of it matches the decor in her bedroom and it is very comfortable and practical for her study purposes as well as looking modern in her bedroom. The chair came very quickly which was great, only one downside it did have a dark mark in the top of the fabric which we haven’t yet tried to remove but will try. Overall love the chair. Have since purchased a different style for my other daughter for Christmas as she liked this chair.

Perfect for my laptop, printer and lamp. The drawers are quite shallow so I’m having trouble finding drawer organisers to fit but it is a very lovely, solid unit.

EASY TO INSTALL

It’s a beautiful desk, and easy to put together but the drawers are push to open and close and they are hard to use for my 8 year old daughter

Great desk for our 3 kids. Have brought one for each of them! Although would buy a desk with pull out drawers next time. Only 1 of 2 pop drawers work on each of the desks. Great quality though.

Sense of style lovely. Quality of workmanship not great - drawers do not line up together and not easy to push to pop open.

Reasonably easy to put together and a sleek design for the home office. The hydraulic lift gives off a black, greasy substance that can mark the cream upholstery if you're not careful.

Looks great in the photo, in real life it’s only the legs/ base that are real wood. The top part is MDF with very plastic feeling and looking veneer
