Ruairi Adjustable Standing Desk

I purchased this for use while recovering from surgery. It was easy to construct and I have had no issues with use (some have said it won't go back down after raising to full height - I haven't had that issue so it may only affect some items). There is plenty of surface space and it is sturdy enough given that only one end is supported. You CAN set the leg up on either side to account for which end you'd like to be open, it will just affect where the electrical cable falls (I used a clamp to hold it as per photo). The wheels can be hard to move on carpet but the trade off is a low profile so it fits under more furniture, which is great. Easy to move between rooms as needed. Please excuse the messy photo!

Great little desk for the price. Looks good and great for my small office. I only wish it could go a little higher. Standing option may not be high enough for taller people so definitely check the specs against your requirements if you want to use it as a standing desk.

Works well and having the mini-power board built in is great. Only thing I would change would be the direction of the outlets from facing inwards to facing outwards. If you have a large plug it hangs over the other outlet which means you can't utilise both at the same time.

Instructions were straightforward to follow; best if you have an electric screwdriver or drill as the power outlet does need to be screwed into the board - I was able to screw it in place manually with a normal screw driver, although this is probably not the optimal way to do it. Functionality wise, it works good - power outlet including usb ports functions properly, the gas lift mechanism works as intended. Only complaint is that the cup holder is loose and too narrow to fit any of the cups I have. Aside from that, it is a decent product with a nice wood finish.

The desk is has a nice finish but the plastic handle to activate the gas pneumatic system broke when assembling it. Poor design as the plastic handle doesn't fit the small metal controller.
