Riviera Wooden Kitchen Cart

This is a beautiful product. Well packaged to prevent any damage during delivery. Lovelier than it's online pics. It lost a star for poor quality control of parts supplied. No washers were in the packaging for the castors and a complete screw and washer missing for one of the door handles. Holes are not predrilled for the castors so you need more than a screwdriver to attach these. (I saw these same comments on a previous review of this item). For the sake of completion and a little more packaging these could be attached by the seller. Overall it is a really lovely piece.

We gave this as a house warming gift to our daughter. Her kitchen is badly designed. The work bench is making the situation a lot more acceptable until such time as the kitchen is remodellec.

Worth the wait. Glad I paid extra for a decent quality unit. The top is beautiful. Workmanship in the rest of the unit well done. Useful to have 2 way drawer and cupboard. I have bought a lot of furniture in recent years. Always a gamble when you cannot sight it first. But honestly cannot fault it.

Arrived securely boxed in very good time. Handles were attached to the cupboard doors and drawer, but needed to be removed and placed on the 'outside' of the unit, as they were securely bolted to the interior to avoid damage and loss. The trolley wheels came separately bagged with all screws, washers and hex key, though the instructions I received were for the larger, longer unit, so not applicable, as the hardware is/was different than that supplied. The instruction sheet was fairly useless, imo, and not much use for anything, but as the unit arrives nearly fully assembled, working out where bits should be wasn't an issue. I had to redrill the pilot holes for the wheels, and did use a cordless drill to assemble. Two of the casters have wheel locks on them, but there is no instruction on which trolley legs to place them on. One of the wire screens on a door was missing most of its screws, so had to be replaced from stock I had at home (see attached photo). Once fully assembled the unit seems quite sturdy and is nicely appointed. I love the fact the cupboard doors open both sides, and the drawer also, though a couple of stoppers to prevent the drawer from being pulled completely out of the unit would have been a nice touch. Overall, happy with the unit, and do recommend.

Love this portable and sturdily made mobile kitchen island. Some work needed to be done to drill new holes for the wheels as the existing holes didn't match up with the wheels supplied but overall not hard to assemble and it was in use in quick time. Our unit did have a crack in one corner of the butchers' block but as we had transported it many kms we decided we would live with it. It is a really handy workspace while we wait for a new kitchen to be installed.
