Rhodes Kitchen Island Bench with Storage

Extremely heavy, solid piece. Very large so double check your measurements. Solid real wood counter. We have used it against wall as a bar/meal sit up area and not used drawer or shelf access on other side. However if we had the space this would be utilised fully. We have it for a beachside airbnb and it looks great. Will be used for drinks overlooking ocean or reading paper over breaky. Would also be great with some roller wheels added for kitchen use. Chairs are a little tight but sit great just back slighly and are absolutely stunning and also from Temple & Webster.

My Rhodes Kitchen Island bench was put together last night, and I absolutely love it! It's really well made, solid, and very attractive. It's an asset to my kitchen and I would thoroughly recommend this as a quality piece of kitchen furniture.

Love Love Love my new purchase. I have been looking for sometime for a table for my sewing craft room for cutting out on. This is the perfect size and height for my room. Strong and study very happy.Extra storage is a great would differently recommend Jennifer

Giving 5 stars to the product itself as it’s good quality, instructions were easy to follow and we’re really happy with it. Unfortunately it did arrive with multiple parts damaged however T&W made the process to claim on this easy.

I absolutely love our new purchase. Great quality and functional. It fits our pizza oven perfectly and accessories. It was easy to enough put together however I did get assistance as it is heavy. I added wheels without a problem so it can easily be wheeled around my outdoor area.

Great Island bench!!

Fantastic! I was hesitant to purchase this online without having seen it, but it exceeded my expectations. It is incredibly sturdy and well built, and fits perfectly in our kitchen space. The drawers are a great size for cutlery and knick knacks, and the hooks great for hanging pans if you (like us!) have limited cupboard space.

Should be 4.5 stars. It is a solid piece. To improve: 1. Assembly instructions. 2. Precision of the drawers. 3. Option to allow the hanging bar on either site.

I live in a furnished serviced apartment and wanted to add a little class to the room. This product was put together in no time by my pregnant daughter and I on a Friday night and love it. The comments I get from visitors, makes it the right choice. We got the "WOW" factor in this one.

The bench top is much darker with orange tone than what is advertised and is completely different colour to the draw bases. If i knew it was that dark I wouldn’t have purchased - it doesnt match my house or kitchen. Very disappointed. The quality of the cupboard is good but the draws are flimsy and one doesn’t sit on runners and is completely unusable. The delivery was so expensive so it’s not worth returning because of cost to send back!

Happy with the item, fits into our space really well and it wasn't too difficult to put together although the one hour suggested time made me laugh - probably took three hours and you definitely need two people. They were extremely heavy and so we had to keep tipping them over and over to move them into the house. Considering the price we paid I'm a bit upset. Other than that it's exactly what we wanted and extremely functional.

Easily the best thing I’ve bought for my apartment! Takes a while to assemble, but well worth it.

The size is exactly what we needed. It's large enough that it's a decent amount of bench space without taking up our whole kitchen. Love the drawers for a bit of extra storage - they aren't very deep so mostly just for smaller items, but that's all we needed. Great quality, solid and pretty easy to put together between two of us. The instructions were really clear and easy to follow. It also arrived really quickly which was impressive! Very happy with the purchase.

We love it!! Easy build (for 2 people) well packaged (It is very heavy sturdy wood). Delivered within a week (sooner than expected). Its description and dimensions are all matched up, we got exactly what we wanted, it exceeded expectations.

Perfect fit in my kitchen

The kitchen island has a good height and size. There is plenty of storage space for kitchen items. We use these items every day, such as when preparing meals.

I haven't started the build yet, so I'll update this review when that happens. In the meantime I'll review the experience thus far. Packaging is solid, delivery was about 7 days quicker than expected. My biggest worry was it getting to WA in one piece and it seems to have done that :)

Stunning island bench. Went on the wait list to get it. I was super intimidated to construct it but I left my husband and came back in half an hour and it was pretty well done. Already this bench has brought immense joy to my life, making our small terrace kitchen area feel bigger and spacious, the storage is a major plus, and I prepared the dinner on it last night marveling at the space on the top. I have to stress our kitchen is otherwise very small (terrace) so to some it may not be relative huge, but to me it is the best thing I've purchased in this FY so far. (stools also from T&W)

Solid, well constructed and great design. Exactly as presented on the website.

Delivery came within a week. Heavy flatpacks so ensure you have at least 2 people to assemble. Assembly took longer than the suggested time as there were several parts to put in place. Solid, sturdy island with ample storage space. Heavy, smooth, wooden bench top makes it easy to wipe down. Handy hook railing on the side. Perfect size for house and fits in with design.

Fit in perfectly into our kitchen, a welcome addition of spaces for utensils and kitchen aids regularly used in the kitchen

Took 3 hours to put together by 2 adults. Looks lovely in our apartment and exactly as photos The wood on the top is gorgeous and very solid. The shelving are very large and solid, I use the shelves to hold pots and pans and baking dishes. The two draws are slightly flimsy however I only hold tea towels and glad wrap, foil etc. in them. We styled it with two white leather bar stools which compliment the look Overall would recommend this product to anyone

The final product looks awesome and fits our needs perfectly – however it was very frustrating to put the flat pack together. Instructions are minimal and it's just so bulky and awkward, even with two people. The quality feels a bit cheap when you're piecing it together, although in the end I still think it looks great
