I bought this a year ago. I thought it was perfect as an outdoor seat while hiding gardening essentials and looking much better than a big metal or plastic box. But it does not hold up to use externally - as advertised. I opened it recently and the lid came away from the base as the timber is rotting and weak. Generally looking shabby now. Very, very disappointing.

I was actually quite disappointed by this product. I don't mind putting things together and have done quite a few from another shop. This one was difiicult as the holes in some places were either too big for the screw or too close to another screw. Also, I have no idea how to attach the springs - they require such a strong force to hold them down that it's impossible to fit it onto the lid and base. Also, the instructions are obviously written by someone whose first language is not English.
