I have a black cat and a cream coloured lounge suite and the two don't go well together, so I bought this to give the cat a happy place to sleep and keeping the sofa clean. I was dubious because cats have a mind of their own but she loves it and sleeps in it everytime she wants to sleep now, so it must be comfy and welcoming. It's bigger than I thought it would be, which is a nice surprise but the zip off cover is the best bit because it makes it really easy to wash.
