Plum Heirloom Rug

Exactly what I was looking for. The vintage-inspired pattern adds warmth and character without overwhelming the room, and the muted tones work beautifully with timber floors and soft lighting. It instantly made the living area feel more grounded, cozy, and intentional. I was worried a large rug might dominate the space, but the size ended up being perfect — it ties both sofas together and makes the whole room feel much more curated. Soft underfoot, visually warm, and surprisingly versatile. Very happy with this purchase.

This rug is silky soft and feels lovely underfoot. It vacuums much like velvet, so the pile can appear slightly lighter or darker depending on the direction you vacuum but it never looks messy, just rich and textured. I’m using it without a rug pad on a timber laminate floor, and it stays in place perfectly thanks to two sofas anchoring it in a corner layout. A couple of the corners curled slightly when it was first laid down, but placing a heavy basket on them overnight fixed the issue completely. The small fringe edge can get a bit untidy unless everyone is careful to step over it, but that’s a minor trade-off for how good it looks. Overall, it’s beautiful, soft, and very easy to vacuum. I’m using it in a classic modern styled home, and it looks luxurious—working perfectly with warm neutrals, charcoal, and chocolate tones. Highly recommend.

This rug is gorgeous! It feels nice and is a short pile however it’s a bit more vibrant than the photos. It’s also German Shepherd approved as you can see! Going to look great with my antique gold coffee table!
