It meets our needs, although it may not to strong enough to hang bags.

Looks great when assembled, however during the assembly process, we noticed the bars scratch quite easily. Not a big deal, just had to take extra care.

Does exactly what I need it to do. The coat hooks do slide unless you elect to screw them in. Those screws do not come with the rack. However, I'm not bothered about being able to adjust the hook layout.

2 years after my purchase my review is: Very sturdy, the timber is not as "beech" oak but as on photo - a little more greyish. Still looks amazing.

Great way to keep the hallway tidy of shoes and bags. Sturdy and simple to put together, the metal frame made assembly quite easy. This replaced a smaller and older plywood version we had and the height on this makes everything much neater now as bags aren't squashed together or hanging right over the top shelf. Exactly what we needed.
