Petros Chicken Feeder

Great quality compared to similar feeders. Only issues I experienced were: 1. Nuts for the bolts under the step were not included. They should be to make the step/foot more secure. 2. The step/footing was very slippery. I added some rough tape so the chooks could have more grip.

Product had to be assembled (not my issue) but the side pieces left a gap so seed falls through (which attracts birds and pests) Piece of metal chickens stand on to open feeder is powder coated and angled towards the ground making it slippery and hard for chickens to stand on. I’ve tried adjusting it but feeder also sometimes stays open after chicken gets off the opening plate. Bought this to replace an old feeder but might just stick with the old one. On the plus side it’s a lovely colour. Not happy with the product at all.

Easy to put together. Only problem is the step the chicken stand on is to slippery for their claws. So we glued som old fabric onto it so the chickens can use it without slipping off.

Easy to assemble but it is a shame my chickens don't know how to use it yet.
