Lid is larger than base and leaves a gap. Always cleaning up mess off the floor when the cat misses. Didn't realise the lid and base don't attach.

Whilst there is a dome and base, the two do not fit together. This means "moisture" can escape between the two sections. There is a reduction in kicked out litter, but a box design with partially closed in top would prevent "overspray" also.

Love the fact that you can’t see the kitty litter - and my cat loves it. Just wish she’d get closer to the middle of the litter to prevent pee on floor! Love the product
