Great rug to have with young kids and a shedding dog! Dirt and dog hair is not so visible with this rug, not necessarily as soft on the bare feet as compared to a cotton soft rug but it is certainly not uncomfortable to walk on and even sit on. Will upgrade once our kids get abit older and are not so messy!
