My first attempt at a hall-runner, mainly to be warmer in winter and to reduce noise. The diamond pattern and lighter colour is a nice design. I didn’t use an underlay as the mat cant move in the narrow space, but it may need one in a wider area as is light. Not too heavy for rolling up to clean though. I thought this style would lift the hall area without getting too dirty. However, the colour of the runner is more of a gold/yellowish tone than I expected and maybe not the best option for my jarrah floorboards.
