Myles Rubberwood DIY Batten Fix Ceiling Light

I absolutely love these..I prefer a darker cozy lounge room and these were perfect for us. We have 2 of these up in our lounge room and the light is bright enough for our 1 year old to play in her play corner when the sun disappears . Will purchase again for our bedroom.

Does not fit all batons the top wood decor may have have to be left out but still looks good

Doesn’t fit normal batten fix ceiling light. I will need to sort out some kind of custom solution. Wooden part is too deep. Seems good quality but unfortunately isn’t fit for purpose. I wish I’d read the other ratings!

I bought 4 of these. The wooden attachment at the top of the lights had to be discarded as they did not allow the lights to attach to the fittings/ceiling.

Looks amazing great product

I purchased two of these and as they are a soft sage colour fit perfectly in our dining area. They were very easy to fit.

These look fantastic however our electrician was unable to install them whole. The timber section is too long and doesn't allow enough room for the thread to be exposed to screw in the lightbulb. Have had to install without the timber portion and it looks ok, but not what I intended.

Great quality light fitting

We love the look and style of our new light fitting. What we missed to get beforehand is a light fitting locking ring, which is needed to hold the light fittings in place. We got one for $1 at from a local store. Nonetheless, the quality is great and it fits beautifully into our new renovated rooms. We are about to buy a few more for the rest of the bedrooms. 😊

We bought three of those ceiling lamps shades to replace the current downlights in our kitchen after renovating it but be mindful it requires you to purchase extra bits for installation AND pay for an electrician to install it. We will also have an extra cost to decrease the ceiling plaster hole as the wood peace is only 8 cm width. T&W returning policy is not as friendly as others sites, therefore think carefully before purchase items from them (unless you want to pay extra to get full refund in case things don't work as planned.). Shade is a bit larger than I expected. Photo attached has a regular size water glass to give you an idea of what the small shade would look like. Had to give four stars as site did not accept 'send' with previous three stars.

Looks good easy to install

Looks great but the wood effect is the wrong size to go over a batten fixing and still have thread to tighten it up. Wooden but had to be cut shorter, sanded and drilled to make it fit. Way to much effort for a DIY shade but it does look great in the hall and loo

Lovely light, but is only a shade, no light fitting included so I had to buy separately. Nice finish, just didn't realise the electrical bits weren't included so had to go and purchase separately
