Holly McLennan-Brown is a proud Aboriginal woman with roots in the Yorta Yorta region, as her father is originally from Kyabram. Holly has always taken immense pride in her family, her country, & her culture. Creativity was strongly encouraged in her home by her mom during her upbringing. Her family holds great esteem for art, & she feels fortunate to be surrounded by people whose values align so closely with hers.

Holly’s art is gentle & soft-spoken, encouraging conversations that may not have happened before. She appreciates the curiosity it inspires & how it opens minds to more. She loves that it promotes education, leading to better understanding. When she indulges in her paintings, she feels safe & still. It allows her to digest the outside world. Painting enables her to transform feelings of happiness & love into tangible form. More beautifully, it provides an outlet for her anxieties, worries, & heartaches, allowing them to flow through her & come out on the other side lighter.
