Motor housings should be regularly cleaned to avoid build up of dust; dust will attract moisture & condensation leading to corrosion; use a soft, damp cloth to remove dust; always dry blades after cleaning; blades should not be left damp or wet as this will damage blade finish or cause corrosion; use only water & mild detergent; spray cleaners may damage coatings

It's very elegant, particularly on an extended downrod (45cm in our case) in a large room. The motor is quiet but as it's a big fan the blades do make some noticeable wind noise on the faster speeds. To be honest though for the most part the slowest setting is quite adequate and certainly low energy. My only real complaint is that the remote doesn't have buttons for specific speeds. While there is light indicators that increase and decrease it's not obvious what the actual setting is. All in all it's a good value purchase, and I'm happy with it. Definitely an improvement on our old buzzy, inefficient AC fan.

Thanks again to the team at Temple and Webster for our patio fan. Due to recent storm damage we have had to remove the fan while patio panels are replaced.
