This knife block looks good and functions well. I have a set of 7 global knives on this block and they fit, even if they don't fit with much space to spare. I wall mounted the block- it's not really designed for that and it took a little bit of finagling with a 3D printer and some wall screws, but it can certainly be done. It did need proper wall screws because the block is fairly heavy and the knives are a few centimeters from the wall- double sided tape isn't going to hold the block up. (Ask me how I know!) The block is quite magnetic and amply strong enough to hold most knives, I find the smallest pairing knife has the weakest hold, so I'm a little careful putting that one back. It probably doesn't help that I have the block vertical rather than slightly tilted. I'm taking one star off just because I'd like the block to better support wall mounting with screw mount holes and slightly stronger magnets. But I think it looks really good and I like it!

Looks great on the bench but just have to be careful as the surface can scratch easily. Didn’t expect that. So we put them on and take them off with the utmost care.

Awesome and convenient

Everything I wanted. It fits all my knives with no worry, the magnet is strong enough that I’m confident my knives won’t go anywhere unless I choose to use them. Even the finish is really nice. I would recommend this over more expensive similar knife blocks in a heart beat!
