I was after thick towels that did not shrink after washing but I was disappointed. Presume I could not send back as I washed them, I have lost the money I paid for them.

What has changed with tea towels? These are so badly out of shape, have considerable shrinking and a weird bubbly texture. There was a time when tea towels could be thrown into the washing machine and dryer without any thought. These brand new, washed and dried tea towels are going straight in the bin.
