Well made, no assembly required. It is an expensive bedside so was glad it was well made. Soft close mechanism works well, the drawers are a generous size and so nice to hide all your stuff away :) The veneer is more Brown/black than photos so that was the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star A bit disapointing as I wanted a warmer look like the photo See mine attached But still very happy with the quality.
