I put this 42-inch compact ceiling fan in a second bathroom / laundry where space is at a premium. It works like a charm, both the fan and the LED lamp. Noise is almost unnoticeable. A couple of minor criticisms: 1) the inverter switch should be allowed to be controlled from the remote (the switch is on top of the motor), and 2) I hope one day fan designers will create canopies just a little bit bigger, say 0.5 cm more in diameter, to allow easier installation of the remote receiver.
