At first I didn't like the feel as it had the canvas feel but after 2 washes it felt nice and has that cool feel so you dont overheat. It had ties to connect to a Donna so it won't move on the cover(I love this) it wasn't advertised but it should be huge help when putting the cover on as i am 5 foot and hate doing it. Overall used it for 4 months now and no tears or frays. Also I have a cat and the fur doesn't stick as bad as say a more wool feeling cover would.
