Bookshelf is quality wood and looks nice and solid. It took me a couple hours to assemble because the directions were pretty much nonexistent. Hint: long screws for the main construction, short screws for the side buckets. The finish does not look anything like the photo. It is a warmer, slightly darker color and the finish is shiny and very smooth. That said, it’s a quality piece and I’m happy to have it in my son’s room and look forward to decorating it.
