Always follow care instructions on the label of your rug. Rotate your rug every 3-6 months to reduce uneven wear & tear. Lightly vacuum once or twice a week using the lightest possible setting. Avoid powerful vacuums that may pull fibres loose from the base of the rug. Vacuum the base of your rug occasionally, as dirt can accumulate here as well. Blot spills with a paper towel or colourless cloth, do not wipe or scrub, and spot clean with a small amount of gentle detergent and warm water. I think this is a great looking rug which was reasonably priced. I’m rating it down because it doesn’t sit flat very well and has more of a warped edge look rather than rectangle shape now. Whenever I put furniture on it the rug seems to lift around it and become a tripping hazard.
