Certainly not a Hereford hide. More like an Ayreshire which is too white and not as expected. We are farmers so we understand there are variations but we also know the difference between breeds.

I have to be honest the first hide I got was nothing like the picture and I hated it. I contacted customer service and they were great. They contacted the distributer who emailed me pictures of two other options. I picked one and T&W had the first one picked up and the second one delivered promptly at no cost to me and I love the cowhide we got the second time around. I would suggest asking them beforehand if you could see a photo of the actual hide before shipment though...

Vegans and vegetarians won’t rate this rug but the rest of us will and love it. What’s good about this rug is it feels great under foot but can be placed in lots of different angles all look good! Plus dust and dirt won’t find its way thru to underside because it’s hide and not porous Not like a rattan rug.
