Installation of the plastic rim ton attach fwd and aft protection rings is pretty average. The fan itself is amazing with full control and good speed, it's not a misting fan however, its is a fan that blows difused water. Can hardly feel a temperature difference with "misting" on or off even at full capacity.

WOW! What a Hellerer of a misting fan! Today was 32° degrees where I live, and the fan brought immense relief. Started using full power and mist, but could turn it down to 3/4 power and 1/2 misting, and it worked beautifully. It moves so easily on the castor wheels, and having the timer function i'm sure it will accompany me to the bedroom on hot nights. Highly recommend this misting fan.

The “mist” is more of a fog. Like the foggers you see in garden ponds. Droplets are too small to have any cooling affect. Fog appears and dissipates.. The fan function is quite powerful, cooling but loud.
