Don't buy this. Flimsy plastic components. On switching on, the cap that is supposed to secure the blades comes loose and the friction arising from this heats up the metal shaft, leading to the motor heating up as well. Faulty and potentially dangerous. I have never come across a pedestal fan of such poor quality and am shocked that anyone would sell this.
