Up close, the quality of the finish on this product looks very slap dash, like it was put together on a production line with deadlines to meet. I would've been very disappointed if I'd paid full price for it. From a distance though, it looks pretty enough, although with none of the delicacy of an actual hummingbird. It's quite a bit bigger than I expected (even though I checked the specs). Also, unlike other T&W deliveries, it was delivered in an unmarked box with no bubble wrap or other protection and one of the wings had actually cut through the cardboard of the box. It had the feeling of a display model or return?
