These Bread & Butter or Side Plates are actually smaller in reality than they appear in this picture. In fact, they are the perfect size for a dinner roll or two which leaves more room on the table for other dishes and implements etc. They also match perfectly the boxed four place setting of three pieces - a Dinner Plate, an Entree Plate, and a Bowl - that Noritake offers to be purchased as a set. I am very happy with all of my purchases from this Noritake Dinner Set range!.
