TV stand looks great. We love the barn door style. It was quick and easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Only quibble would be the cardboard backing. Could have been a thin layer of melamine or other wood so it was a little stronger. But overall great item for the price we paid. We bought 2 for our back room.

4 stars because it's not quite perfect but I'd definitely buy another for a different room. (imperfections ... there's a slight rough edge at one corner on our unit, not noticeable unless you run your finger along it. There's a tiny gap in the front, about 1-2 mm, under the top where two pieces didn't quite meet perfectly.) It's not expensive and looks good. Construction took my husband a bit over half an hour, the instructions are clear and the screws etc are neatly packed in individual sections marked for each stage of construction. You can't go wrong. Doors slide easily and it's a good design for people who have more than two things to go on shelves that connect to power like gaming consoles, Foxtel boxes, subwoofers etc. I know it's higher than a standard TV cabinet, I deliberately bought it for the height. I wanted to see the TV from the kitchen and this lifts the TV high enough that I can view most of it over the top of the dining table and sofa. We have a 65 inch TV on this cabinet and the TV is the same width as the cabinet. A good TV cabinet for the price.
